SUMMARY:Sas-Squash Attack: Pumpkin Carving sponsored by Save-On-Foods
DESCRIPTION:Have you ever wondered whether the Sas-Squash exists? Maybe the person on our logo has been one all along! Whether or not the Sas-Squash exists (or if our person is one)\, we do invite you to be creative in carving yours! \nJoin the Yukon Transportation Museum and Save-On-Foods for a spectacular night of pumpkin carving. Enjoy carving a pumpkin with other community members and avoid the mess at your own home! This event will take place at the Yukon Transportation Museum and has been made possible with sponsorship from Save-On-Foods! \nThere will be candy and snacks (including veggies\, fruit\, and meat and cheese) provided by Save-On-Foods\, free of charge to all attendees! Save-On-Foods will also be sending a judge to pick out the best carvings in several categories\, and awarding 10$ gift cards to those winners. Once judging is complete at the end of the night\, everyone is invited to take their pumpkin home with them. \nTo purchase your tickets in advance\, visit our eventbrite page! \n6$ for one individual\, including one pumpkin. \n10$ for groups/families (up to four individuals)\, includes one pumpkin. \nAdditional pumpkins can also be purchased for 6$ \nAll participants below the age of 14 will need to be accompanied by an adult\, and all participants will be asked to sign a waiver before participating. \n \nDid you know that one of the places that Sasquatches are most commonly associated with is the Pacific Northwest\, including Oregon? Coincidentally\, that’s where our pumpkins come from too. After Save-On-Foods buyers go to the market to purchase pumpkins in Oregon\, they are shipped to warehouses in BC and Edmonton to supply the whole company. Yukon’s pumpkins are shipped from the Edmonton warehouse\, and take 24 hours to leave the warehouse and arrive in Whitehorse’s store.
