DESCRIPTION:#ElectrifyYukon is about how you can make your household more energy efficient.\n\n Learn how to reduce your greenhouse gas emissions by switching to an advanced electric heating system or get information about electric vehicles.\n\nWe’ve got an electric vehicle and bike showcase. Experience electric vehicles and electric bikes up close at #ElectrifyYukon! Come talk to local EV owners and get first hand knowledge and experience on what it’s like to own an EV. These EV owners are successfully operating EVs in the Yukon’s cold climate.\n\n Car dealership like Whitehorse Motors and Whitehorse Subaru will be on hand to answer your questions and you can test drive an electric vehicle.\n\n You can also test ride an electric bicycle.\n\nThe indoor trade show will feature vendor booths from Yukon Energy Corporation\, Yukon Conservation Society\, City of Whitehorse\, Solvest\, Energy Solutions Centre and more.\n\n This is all-ages\, family-friendly event with supervised children’s area.\n\n There will be free lunch provided and free cookies.\n\n There will be entertainment throughout the day featuring performances from Q the Rapper and The Rubies.\nYukon Circus Society will be on site presenting circus aerialists with both silks and hoops\, flow artists will be performing fans\, poi\, ribbons\, there will be two jugglers and two stilt walkers.\n_____________________________________________\n\nEvent schedule\n12:00 pm – performance by The Rubies and Yukon Circus Society\n12:30 pm – lunch is served\n1:30 pm – performance by The Rubies and Yukon Circus Society\n2:30 pm – performance by The Rubies\n3:00 pm – performance by Q the Rapper\n_____________________________________________\n\n Contact: Yukon Transportation Museum 867-668-4792 or info@goYTM.ca\nThis event is being hosted by Government of Yukon and Yukon Transportation Museum.
