For forty years\, he gathered stories and historical information about the Dalton (Chilkat) Trail\, a route that he\nhas traveled on foot\, by horse\, automobile\, boat and airplane. Join Michael at the Yukon Transportation Museum\, where he will share his experiences in a visual presentation exploring the history of the trail as a First Nation trade route\, a gold rush\ntrail\, and modern travel corridor. He will describe its role as the most important route for cattle drives to the Klondike during and after the gold rush of 1898.

We’ll be featuring a live looping act from Vicente\, a talk examining the role of the Alaska Highway in 2022 from YTM Museumist Janna Swales\, and a DJ set from DJ Eli Blablabla. Come listen to some tunes\, grab a drink and check out our new exhibits. \nThis is a fully licensed event\, but is certainly open to our younger audiences as well.
