The Yukon Transportation Museum is looking for a person to fill the role of Events & Communications Coordinator.

We are looking for an excellent communicator who can help us meet the COVID-19 challenges with creative outreach initiatives.
Do you love working on exciting projects that impact your community and do you want a position that provides you with the freedom to stretch your creative legs? Do you wish to stretch your skills, challenge yourself?

This position can be a remote work situation (anywhere in Canada).

Participants must also meet all requirements of the Young Canada Works at Building Careers in Heritage program and be registered on the YCW website. The selected candidate must:
-be a Canadian citizen, be a permanent resident, or have refugee status in Canada; and are legally entitled to work in Canada;
-be between the ages of 16 and 30 at the start of employment;
-be willing to commit to the full duration of the work period, not have another full-time job during the program, and not receive EI benefits while in the program;
-be an unemployed or underemployed college or university graduate who is not employed full-time or a recent graduate that has graduated from college;
-have not participated in or been paid under YCWBCH or any other Career Focus internship program funded under Canada’s Youth Employment Strategy.
