On February 11, 2019, YTM board member, Sue Greetham met the Hon. Marc Garneau, the federal government’s Minister of Transport, a MP since 2008, and Canadian Astronaut.
She was pleased to be one of many welcoming him to the Yukon, and Sue was able to talk with him about many of the important transportation stories we share at the YTM and the changes here. This included the struggles of the Chilkoot Trail, the construction of the Alaska Highway, our Hall of Fame, the new public electric car charge station, and YTM’s continued commitment to accessibility.
