Note: as of 2024, we have a long-term renter at the museum annually from September until mid-May. Rental volume will be curtailed accordingly. Thanks for understanding!
The Yukon Transportation Museum offers a unique venue for a variety of events. Our Exhibit Gallery and Bush Pilot Room are available during our offseason (from the beginning of September through the end of April) for public, private and corporate functions of all different shapes and sizes.
We offer bar service (by virtue of our permanent liquor license), a full complement of bookable event equipment, and generous built-in discounts of 10% for museum members and 25% for nonprofit organizations (applicable to Main Exhibit Gallery bookings only).

Main Exhibit Gallery
Our main gallery captures the essence of historic Whitehorse with building façades and boardwalk, a full-scale train car, a replica of the famous ‘Queen of the Yukon’ airplane and a lovely mezzanine to drink it all in. Think holiday parties, concerts, corporate cocktail hours, and special events. Capacity: 200

Bush Pilot Room
In the bush pilot room, historic photographs adorn the walls and provide a thematic surrounding for your event. Audio/visual equipment is also available to groups that rent this room. Think meetings, film screenings, training sessions, lectures and more intimate receptions. Capacity: 50

Hangar, Parking Lot and Exhibit Yard
These areas of the museum are functional but definitely seasonal! Give us a ring if you have an idea that would be perfect for one of these unique spaces. Think: barbeques, motorcycle and car shows, bike auctions and other unique events.
